Shipping is calculated based of physical shipping weight set by FedEx.

Insurance is automatically added to the final shipping cost. You have the option to elect not to add insurance.  NOTE: BOBKAT LIQUORS will not be held responsible for items damaged during shipping if insurance is not selected.


Bobkat Liquors uses pulp wine shippers for all bottles to insure against breakage.  These shippers are included in the shipping price.

Bobkat Liquors does NOT currently ship to Alaska, Kentucky, Hawaii, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas or Utah. BobKat Liquors does NOT ship internationally. Thank You.

How does Bobkat Liquors know that I am of legal drinking age?
You must be 21 years of age to order alcoholic beverages. Additionally, all shipments of alcoholic beverages within the United States require an adult's signature at the time of delivery. Of course, orders for non-alcoholic items (all wine glassware, wine accessory, non alcohol gift baskets etc.) are not restricted to certain states and can be shipped throughout the United States.

How do I figure out if my State (U.S.) is legal to accept wine, champagne, liquor, beer shipments from New Jersey?
Bobkat Liquors does NOT currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Kentucky, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Tennessee or Utah. Bobkat Liquors does NOT ship internationally. Thank You. Non-New Jersey residents are responsible for determining whether they may lawfully import alcoholic beverages into their state. We make no representation relative to your right to import wine or spirits into your state. Each state has its own rules about alcoholic beverages and wine delivery. We have listed a few rules below. You may want to check with the appropriate agency in your state or county. If, between the date of order and date of arrival, the alcohol laws of your state change so as to make it illegal for you to import your wine shipment or send wine, liquor, champagne, beer, you can return the order for a full refund. You will, however, be charged for shipping and handling of the alcohol product. Bobkat Liquors will arrange for shipment on behalf of the buyer, to an address specified by the buyer, provided that Bobkat Liquors in its sole judgment believes that such shipment will not subject BobKat Liquors to the risk of any sort of legal action or other harm. If a buyer lives in a state where the direct shipment of wine, champagne, beer, liquor by Bobkat Liquors violates the law, we suggest that the buyer provide an alternative address in another state or have their wine shipped to a third-party storage facility in a direct wine, champagne, beer, liquor shipping-friendly state.
Any wine, beer, liquor, champagne sold to you through Bobkat Liquors is sold in New Jersey and title passes to you, the buyer, in New Jersey. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wine, beer, liquor, champagne. We make no representations concerning your legal rights to ship or receive wine, liquor, champagne, beer or alcohol gift baskets into any state outside New Jersey or any country outside the United States. In fact there are certain states and countries we cannot ship to. By placing this order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to your selected designation.

Domestic Shipping (within United States)
Shipping Costs are calculated based on the weight of the items purchased. Rates are calculated automatically based on the destination at the time of your order, you will always have a chance to review all and any charges before finalizing your purchase. At the time of this writing average delivery fees to be expected are about $16 per 750ml bottle and up depending on delivery type and speed chosen. We may arrange local wine, champagne, liquor and beer delivery depending on a specific state or countries alcohol shipping and delivery laws.

WINE Shipping and Transit Time

  • Most products are shipped within 2-3 business days, usually the next business day.
  • * Please note that we cannot guarantee that your order will ship out the day that you place the order. The delivery guarantees refer to carrier's commitment once the order has been shipped (left our warehouse). When we receive your order we begin working to pull all the items together, pack the order, and get it shipped out.
  • Bobkat Liquors does not ship on Friday's, major holidays and weekends.
  • The shipping price is calculated automatically when you check out of your online shopping cart.
  • Tracking information is sent to you via email when the order is processed.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot ship alcohol to PO. Boxes Bobkat Liquors may delay your shipment to ensure that the wines don't sit in a carrier's warehouse over the weekend.

How are the products packaged?
We use a combination of pulp and cardboard shipping containers to ensure your wine arrives in excellent shape. In most areas of the country, the cardboard can be recycled.. Call your local waste management company for their policy.

How do I claim for damaged Goods
It is uncommon for products to get damaged during delivery. Bobkat Liquors insures all products to States that can be legally shipped to. If you had products shipped to one of the restricted states and they are impounded by your state or shipping carrier, you will be COMPLETELY LIABLE for any damages or loss of product. Please be certain before you get items shipped to you. You will not hold Bobkat Liquors responsible for this.

To process the claim Bobkat Liquors requires that the customer RETURN all damaged products for Bobkat Liquors to submit the claim with the appropriate carrier. Customer understands that if Customer is unable to return the damaged product, Bobkat Liquors cannot provide a refund for the damaged goods.

Customer also understands that Customer may not file a claim with Bobkat Liquors if the Customer makes a request for the carrier to leave the product without Customers signature. Customer needs to file a claim for damaged goods within 7 days of receipt of order.

Product should be sent back in it's original packaging, and Bobkat Liquors may make a final assessment regarding the damage goods.

What if I am not available to receive the package?
It is Customer's responsibility to be present at the time of delivery. If no one is available to receive the package, a subsequent attempt to deliver will be made. Whenever possible, we encourage you to use a commercial business address to assure the fastest delivery time. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to Bobkat Liquors. Customer will be required to incur the cost of shipping and handling, regardless of the Customer deciding to cancel the order.

Return Policy
Once wine or alcohol leaves our premises we cannot accept it back as per U.S. Federal regulations concerning alcoholic products. Claims can only be made on damaged goods and by following the appropriate steps outlined above.

Important message about your wine, champagne, liquor, spirits delivery   

  • Orders received after 2:00 pm U.S. Eastern Standard Time will be processed the following business day.  Thank you for your patience.

  • Bobkat Liquors has a policy not to ship certain products via FED-EX in extremely cold or hot weather.  If you require an expedited delivery, we recommend that you choose Next Day Air..  Otherwise, we are happy to hold your order until weather permits a safe delivery.  If it becomes necessary to hold your order we will notify you via e-mail.

  • All claims for shortages, incorrect product, or damage, must be made within 3 days of receipt of delivery.

  • Due to our strict policy of not shipping alcohol to minors, please be advised that WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ORDERS FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT EXPLANATION.  Thank you for your understanding.
